Jamie Dodunski

Store Manager and Podiatrist

Jamie is a local of the Tauranga/Mount Maunagnui area attending Otumoetai Intermediate and College. Jamie has worked in the sports industry since leaving school and studied a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) at Auckland University of Technology. As a Podiatrist Jamie has worked with the New Zealand Defence Force and has help many elite athletes including players from the Waikato NPC, Chiefs Super 14, and the Bay of Plenty Steamers.

"Sports and Footwear are my passion. I believe that with my background in technical footwear and most recently working for the distributor of SCHOLL foot care and other international foot care products I can provide great knowledge to help my patients get back on their feet"

Erin Beeler

Podiatrist

Erin grew up in the Bay of Plenty attending Edgecumbe Primary and Edgecumbe College before finishing her senior schooling at Iona College. Erin graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry).

Graduating in 2006, Erin worked as a Podiatrist in one of Sydney’s busiest podiatry clinics, and is the Lead Podiatrist for Eastern Bay Podiatry.

"As a podiatrist, my aim is to make people feel as though they are ‘walking on air’. Foot problems are awful, and often have been building up over a long time. Many patients admit that they ‘hoped the problem would just go away’ but unfortunately over time the problem can get worse. The reality is that many foot conditions are very treatable. Ironically, I hate anyone touching my feet, and because of this I pride myself on being gentle.”

Matt Fraser
Footwear Technician


Matt grew up at Omaha Beach near
Warkworth attending Matakana
Primary School and Mahurangi College.
A keen sportsman, Matt has represented North Harbour at age-group level in Soccer, Athletics, Cross-Country and Road Racing. In 2000 and 2001 Matt was selected for the Young Olympians Athletics Training Squad. His involvement in sport has given him the opportunities to travel to the USA, UK and Europe.

"I have extensive experience with
footwear and more importantly in
correctly fitting footwear. I have held
senior positions within technical
footwear companies both in New
Zealand and Australia. I have more
recently been involved with the sports
brand Reebok where my role included
fitting professional sports teams such
as Manly Sea Eagles and South Sydney
Rabbitohs.”

 
Elaine Maxwell
Footwear Technician

 

Elaine grew up in the Manawatu and attended St Dominic's College in Whanganui. After spending a year studying in Auckland Elaine worked in Rotorua educating overseas guests about our wildlife and outdoors. In 2012 Elaine relocated to Tauranga to pursue her passion for sports and outdoors. She has now started her first year towards a Bachelor in Sport and Recreation with the aim to become a Physical Education Teacher.

"I have always had a passion for sport and fitness and I am excited to be able to share this passion with everyone. Fitness is not just about running and organised sport, Tauranga is a beautiful city where we you can get out and enjoy the many walks, parks and beaches. If I can help motivate someone to enjoy the fresh air then I’m happy."
